The city walls of AscianoAsciano (Si)
The develop design guarantees the restoration of this section of the medieval walls adjacent Via della Pescheria and the landscaping the outlying green area by realising a pedestrian thoroughfare between the historic centre and the car park below Via delle Fonti.

- The small town of Asciano, in the heart of the region known as the Crete Senesi (literally: “Sienese Clays”), still retains a long stretch of its original defensive walls, (built around the mediaeval village between 1342 and 1352 by the Republic of Siena), running along the western edge of the historic centre.
